KONA RAINFOREST TREES

Born of the ancient elements—earth, water, air, and fire—Kona Rainforest Coffee carries a rich aroma and velvety depth that transcend the ordinary. It transforms simple mornings into sacred rituals, its enchanting fragrance awakening the senses.

The journey begins on our 80-acre hillside farm, where coffee thrives in the mineral-rich volcanic soil of Mauna Loa—naturally nourished with potassium, magnesium, and phosphorus.

HAND PICKED

With each season, the coffee trees bloom into a blanket of white Kona Snow. Their sweet fragrance draws in our bees, whose natural pollination helps thousands of green cherries form and slowly ripen into sun-kissed red fruit.

Over several weeks, our team handpicks only the ripe red cherries. From there, the cherries move through essential processing steps that prepare the beans for roasting.

CHERRIES TO BEAN

In the wet process, cherries are stripped of their skin and pulp, fermented, and cleaned. The beans then dry on our Hawaiian deck for about two weeks, turned regularly for even moisture. Once fully dried, their remaining layers are removed to reveal the green coffee beans.

The beans are carefully graded and sorted, and the best are reserved for roasting—the step that unlocks the signature flavors and aromas of 100% Kona Coffee.

ARTISAN ROASTING

The final step is entrusted to our master roaster, who skillfully and slowly coaxes out the rich, deep color and flavor of Kona Rainforest beans. 

This meticulous journey, from green beans to cherries and beyond, is a testament to the care and craft that defines our exceptional Kona coffee.
